KWS recruitment qualifications
Cadets: To apply for the position of a cadet, you must be a Kenyan citizen and have a valid National ID or passport. You are also required to have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and should be in the age of 18 to 28 years old. Medically fit and satisfied by a doctor and with no criminal record. You must also undergo physical training as well.
Rangers: This position also involved having a National ID which means you must be a Kenua citizen. An international passport is also supported and you must also KCSE certificate with a minimum grade of D (plain) is a mandatory subject. The age requirement is between 18 and 28 years old also have no criminal record and are medically fit as well.
Deputy Director Community Relations: To be qualified for this position, the candidate must have a degree in either Social Science, Wildlife Management or any other relevant discipline. Having a Master’s degree is an added advantage and must serve as a Senior Assistant Director for at least three (3) years. You will also be required to attend a management training course that lasts for a minimum of one (1) month and must be good in computer use and applications.
